The extended-size 4-piece FloorMats are purposely designed with 2" high sides to protect the sides of the footwells from wear, moisture, and salt staining. The front pieces are also cut extra long at the seat to protect more of the carpet. The extra height on the sides eliminates salt staining on the rear and sides of the foot well. They are also in a standard size 4-piece similar to the OEM version.

Please note they are not sealed at the corners. We've experimented with this all winter and found that it was not necessary, especially given the additional cost and complexity that it would bring. You can glue the corners using many different adhesives or tape if you prefer, but I have found that they actually work better without, as they can flex and form the car better. They are also much easier to clean and wash when removed from the car if they are flat.
