2105-20 Honda Civic (Tenth Generation)

Like many other vehicles, owners of Honda Civics have reported punctures of their AC condensers or radiators. These are located right behind the grill in any car and are prone to damage from road debris.

Due to the open design of the grill on the Civic, rocks easily pass through and strike the condenser or radiator at speed. Repairing this problem isn't that hard, but like anything these days, it isn't cheap either.

One owner reported a $1500 repair bill. And don't even ask about a warranty! Road hazard damage like this is specifically excluded from new car warranties. And even if you could forget about the cost, the hassle of having your car down for service for a couple of days, getting back and forth to the dealership, and wondering if or when they will be able to get a new condenser, just isn't worth it.

These lower grill screens can be installed in front of the grill very easily, or behind the grill, which takes a little more effort, but give a very stealthy look. Either way, rocks and debris won't get through this. Your car is safe and you don't need to worry about where that rock is waiting to ruin your day!
