VoltPhone 1

The VoltPhone 1 can be mounted on the driver's side as shown, or on the passenger side (see photos). It won't stick way out and interfere with a passenger's leg space as some big-named clip-on ones do. The VoltPhone 1 is available for both Gen 1 (2011-15) and Gen 2 (2016-19) cars.

If you are like me, you don't like placing a phone where it will obstruct your view through the windshield. So you look at putting it on the dash somewhere. With a big piece of permanent adhesive that you know is going to ruin the dash if you ever want to take it off. No, we are not going to do that!

The VoltPhone 1 clamps around either dash upright and is lined with felt to prevent any marring of the dash and is easily removed in case you sell the car or want to move it to the other side. The phone can be placed high or low on it, giving you some choice of the height of the phone. And if you put it on the driver's side, it covers the on-off switch that some have reported accidentally hitting and turning the car off while driving.

VoltPhone 2

Originally conceived and designed as a GPS mount, the VoltPhone 2 works great for cell phones too. Super simple to install and take down, a premium magnetic mount is included. It stores in the upper glove box with plenty of room left over for your ez-pass transponder. And you can charge your phone with GPS without cords all over.

The photo gallery above shows how the VoltPhone 2 is placed and stored, and the range of heights and configurations that it can be set to. Please note that the custom bracket is supplied with a 4" mounting stem for the magnetic mount. Once you have determined the desired height for the magnetic mount and attached it, the excess is easily be cut off with a pair of tin snips or heavy shears. That is why one bracket looks much shorter than the other in the pics.

VoltPhone 3

The VoltPhone 3 puts the phone just above the dash vent next to the steering wheel. It does NOT interrupt your field of view through the windshield and does not block the vent. Proximity to the upper glove box allows the phone to be plugged in easily without wires everywhere. Lined to prevent any chafing on the dash, it mounts in the upper dash glove box like the VP 2. Like all of our VoltPhones, the VP 3 comes with a high-quality swivel magnetic mount that allows you to position the phone where you want it and get the angle just right for yourself.​
